Business Data Analyst Trainee

We're looking for a Business Data Analyst Trainee to join our team in Madrid and help shape the future of contextual advertising as we continue to expand globally.

Your Challenge

• Support the Data & Insights team in transforming data into meaningful business insights.
• Assist in analysing the performance of Seedtag's Contextual products and internal processes.
• Help build tools and dashboards that support data-driven decision-making across teams.
• Learn how to automate internal processes to increase team efficiency.
• Gain exposure to the adTech ecosystem and develop business acumen.
• Collaborate with experienced analysts and actively participate in team discussions.
• Take ownership of learning opportunities and technical development.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong interest in data analysis, business intelligence, and technology.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and a willingness to develop your technical skills.
• Some academic or personal experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) or Excel/Google Sheets.
• Curiosity about data visualisation tools such as Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Detail-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Motivation to understand how data impacts business decisions.
• A good level of English, both written and spoken.

It would be a big plus if you:

• Have worked on academic or personal projects involving data analysis or reporting.
• Have taken online courses or earned certifications related to SQL, data analytics, or visualisation.
• Understand basic business KPIs or performance metrics.
