About the Role
We are seeking a System Administrator (m/f/d) for our client, a large company based in Meppen.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) or comparable qualification
- Knowledge in Windows system administration, including Windows Server, Powershell, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
- Experience with monitoring and security tools, patch management procedures, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with backup technologies and data recovery procedures
- Enthusiasm for new challenges in the IT environment
- Conscientious, independent, and structured way of working
- Teamwork, problem-solving skills, and strong communication
Your Tasks
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows servers, including Active Directory.
- Deployment and maintenance of virtual machines on platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Setup and monitoring of monitoring tools to oversee system performance, high availability, and system stability.
- Development and maintenance of scripts (PowerShell, Batch) for automating routine tasks and optimizing administrative processes.
- Administration of networks (LAN, WLAN, Firewall).
