Kambria
AI Transformation Consultant
About Us and the Role
Kambria enables AI transformation. We combine industry expertise with AI skills and adaptability to help organisations build the future. Our human-first approach powers real impact through our AI chat platform, training for leaders and teams, and hands-on implementation and governance.
We are seeking a proactive and strategic AI Transformation Consultant (m/f/d) to join our rapidly growing team. You will be at the forefront of enabling German SMEs/deutschen Mittelstand to navigate and thrive in the age of AI. This role is fundamentally about solving human and process challenges with the strategic application of AI, rather than purely technical implementation. You'll build vital bridges between subject matter experts, departmental processes, and the immense technological potential at hand.
You possess a unique ability to quickly build a deep understanding of complex business processes and contexts, identifying opportunities to enhance them with AI-driven workflows, and sometimes through pure digital optimisation.
What you will be doing
- Act as a dedicated consultant / project manager for our AI transformation clients, primarily German Mittelstand companies, guiding them through their AI journey from strategy to execution.
- Analyse existing business processes to identify pain points and develop innovative optimisations, leveraging AI-based workflows or other digital solutions.
- Devise and implement strategic initiatives for organisational development, ensuring AI adoption aligns with business goals and human capabilities.
- Plan, conduct, and facilitate engaging trainings and workshops for client teams and leaders, empowering them with the knowledge and skills to leverage AI effectively.
- Assist clients in the successful rollout, adoption, and integration of Kambria's AI chat platform into their daily operations.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and thought partner throughout the project lifecycle.
What you bring
Must-Haves
- Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in consulting, business process optimisation, project management, or strategic advisory roles, with demonstrated exposure to senior (C-level) stakeholders.
- Business Acumen: Strong business and process thinking, with an ability to quickly understand complex organisational structures and workflows. You see the human problem, not just the tech problem.
- Strategic Mindset: A strategic and analytical approach, capable of devising and executing organisational development initiatives that drive tangible change.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in German (C2 level) and professional proficiency in English -- essential for effective communication with our German-speaking clients.
- GenAI Interest/Experience: Demonstrated interest in or direct experience with GenAI, understanding its potential to transform business processes and operations.
- Client Management: Proven experience in managing client relationships, driving projects to successful outcomes, and delivering impactful results.
- Communication & Facilitation: Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills.
- Location: Berlin-based or willing to relocate.
Nice-to-Haves
- Consulting Background: Prior experience in a management consulting firm or similar client-facing advisory role.
- Mittelstand Knowledge: Familiarity with the unique challenges, culture, and opportunities within the German Mittelstand sector.
- Transformation & Change: Experience in digital transformation projects or change management.
- Certifications: Project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2) or coaching certifications are a plus.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your strategic vision, process expertise, and passion for innovation to directly impact the future of German businesses. You'll play a pivotal role in a fast-growing, human-centred AI company, shaping how organisations adapt and thrive with AI.
