Klar is the Data Operating System for growing eCommerce companies - Klar gives eCom brands a holistic understanding of their business across their three main drivers of growth - customer acquisition, retention and profitability.

We work with over 1.000 eCom brands - leading brands like Sunday Natural, Loop Earplugs, Holy, Maniko, Armed Angels and hundreds more use Klar to make better decisions every day.

We deeply empathize with the struggles of our customers - after having worked most of the last 10 years in e-commerce companies, we know their pain and built Klar to help.

Our Process

Since we are growing rapidly and have big plans, the ideal starting date is tomorrow. However, for the right candidate, we are willing to wait, as quality always pays off.

Most of the process for this position will be handled by Max.

  1. Application Review: Apart from your CV, feel free to include a few words about what motivates you to join Klar.
  2. Initial Meeting: A 30-minute meeting where Max will share more about Klar's vision and assess alignment of expectations.
  3. In-depth Discussion: A second meeting to understand your drivers and future aspirations. You can ask any questions.
  4. Co-Founder Introduction: Meet the Co-Founders for a final team fit assessment.
  5. Offer: Receive and hopefully sign the offer.

This process should take approximately 2 weeks.

About The Position

We have built an extremely efficient inbound marketing flywheel consisting of:

  • Existing customers recommending Klar to their network.
  • Agency partners introducing Klar to their customers for accurate data.
  • The eCom Unity - Germany's largest eCommerce community with 1300+ operators.

These components interact and amplify each other, driving our tremendous growth thus far through 99% inbound leads. We are looking for you to amplify each of these components and accelerate our growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify amplification approaches for each component of our flywheel (SaaS product, agency partnership, and community), potentially through paid ads on Meta and LinkedIn, but not limited to these.
  • Full funnel responsibility: From identifying and creating offers, developing creative concepts and copywriting, to media buying. Comfort in front of the camera for recording ad creatives in our studio is ideal.
  • Support international expansion: While prioritizing a relationship-first approach, support Expansion Managers in building our flywheel in new markets.
  • Bring a B2C marketing mindset to B2B: Apply the advanced marketing strategies often seen in consumer brands to growing Klar.

This role offers significant freedom to experiment with different approaches across various entry points into our flywheel.

About You

  • Be among the best: We seek extraordinarily talented individuals aiming to advance their careers and knowledge.
  • 5+ years of experience in growth roles: This includes experience at brands or agencies in roles like growth manager, media buyer, or creative strategist.
  • Optimize for learning: Be primarily motivated by acquiring knowledge and expanding your skillset, working with like-minded individuals.
  • Naturally curious: Possess a wide range of interests and be open to new experiences.
  • Bonus: eCommerce experience: Prior experience in the trenches of e-commerce is a plus.
  • Work from anywhere (preference for Munich-based): As a remote-first company, this role offers flexibility. However, being Munich-based is advantageous due to our studio.
  • Fluent in English (ideally also German): English is our internal language, but fluency in both is preferred for ad creation.
