As a leading independent film distributor, PLAION PICTURES brings great cinema to the big screen and to your home. We cover the entire exploitation chain from cinema to distribution on our own VOD channels. Film fans appreciate not only our high-quality home entertainment special editions, but also our passionate take on the classics of tomorrow. We operate Germany's largest multichannel network for feature films and are the number 1 in the distribution of physical media.

PLAION PICTURES, headquartered in Planegg near Munich, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of PLAION GmbH and part of the Swedish Embracer Group. The world distribution company Sola Media, specializing in children's and family films, completes our corporate group.

We are growing and looking to strengthen our marketing team with a dedicated and imaginative personality who will support us in the role of (Senior) Online Marketing Manager (all genders) with a focus on Anime to expand our market position in the film sector. This permanent full-time position is to be filled at our Munich/Planegg headquarters on a hybrid basis.

You will play a central role in shaping our optimal marketing mix for each of our films. Together with the team, you will develop and create effective concepts and implement tailor-made campaigns with a clear focus. With your expertise, sparkling creativity, great passion, and good taste, you will create campaigns that entertain, inform, and inspire our target audiences and fans for our films.

Your tasks

• You will independently conceptualize online and social media campaigns (organic & paid) and implement them on all relevant online platforms.
• You impress with in-depth knowledge in the areas of Paid Social, Google Ads, SEO/SEA, Analytics, and Content Marketing.
• You enjoy being in the engine room of your campaigns and take over operational control and success monitoring.
• You influence and create, monitor, and modify the editorial plans for our cinema releases and home entertainment releases.
• You are responsible for the timely creation of advertising materials for our releases.
• You create analyses and reports of your campaigns and confidently present results.

Your profile

• You already have several years of professional experience in online marketing with a focus on demand generation, content marketing, social media advertising, and performance advertising (incl. SEO, SEA, Paid Social etc.).
• You have a strong technical understanding and maintain an overview of your projects from a business perspective.
• You have a strong feel for effective content design, an excellent feel for language, and compelling stories.
• You have an analytical mindset, strong organizational skills, and are able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and align them with business goals.
• You are at home on every social media platform, and curiosity about new media is part of your DNA.
• You enjoy working in a team, are flexible, and appreciate a fast-paced, dynamic, and creative environment.
• You have a high affinity for the Anime genre and are enthusiastic about the stories told within it.
• You speak fluent German (C1) and have good English skills (B2).
