YOUR TASKS

We are looking for a Contract Manager (m/f/d) to support an exciting offshore grid connection programme, delivered in collaboration with our project partner --- a leading German Transmission System Operator.

Your Tasks Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Consulting on project-specific analysis, evaluation, and handling of contract-related issues in consultation with contact persons from the specialist department and other departments (e.g., legal, tax, accounting, regulatory issues).
  • Review, preparation, and adaptation of contract documents, as well as support in contract negotiations
  • Contract negotiations in the agreed project area, for example with wind farm project developers or other project partners (e.g., crossing agreements, private law approval/permit agreements, agreements with authorities).
  • Advising other departments (e.g., purchasing) on contractual matters within their area of responsibility (e.g., grid connection agreements, operating agreements).
  • Advising on the execution of existing contracts.

Requirements & Your Expertise

  • Completed a degree in business administration, industrial engineering, business law or a comparable qualification, ideally with a focus on contract management
  • In-depth specialist knowledge and proven practical experience in contract and claim management, preferably in complex infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Confident use of tools and methods for contract drafting, contract evaluation, and addendum and claim processing.
  • Proven experience in dealing with national and international contract structures.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Confident use of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); SAP skills are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel to Berlin if required
  • Successful candidate must have eligibility to work in the EU, along with the outlined qualifications
