Job Description

We are Körber – an international technology group with around 13,000 employees at over 100 locations worldwide, united by a common goal: We turn entrepreneurial thinking into customer success and shape the technological transformation. In our Pharma, Supply Chain, and Technologies business areas, we offer products, solutions, and services that inspire and create added value for customers. We focus on ecosystems that solve the challenges of today and tomorrow. Körber AG is the holding company of the Körber Group.

Your Responsibilities

  • We have big plans: Körber has committed to net-zero emissions across the entire value chain by 2040.
  • As part of our central sustainability team, you will actively shape the holistic sustainability strategy of the Körber Group (Environment, Social, Governance) and its implementation.
  • You will directly support the management of the Group-wide sustainability initiative, which works closely with the responsible member of the Executive Board, all business areas, and Group Functions internationally.
  • You will provide support, for example, with our sustainability reporting, sustainability ratings, CO2 footprint calculation, and KPIs for managing all our sustainability topics, our sustainability management software, and internal and external communication.
  • You will assist with committee work and the coordination of Group-wide working groups, e.g., with presentations, research and documentation, event planning and organization, maintaining the intranet presence, and the virtual workspace (Teams).
  • Your research, analyses, ideas, and recommendations for action will contribute to achieving our ambitious goals.
  • You will be an active part of our initiative and will increasingly take on project responsibility independently.
  • You will develop professionally and personally through working on one of the most important topics of our time, in a demanding work environment, and through collaboration in a dynamic and intercultural team.
  • State-of-the-art offices and co-working spaces in a central location (approx. 500m to Berliner Tor train station).
  • Flexible home office option upon agreement with the team.
  • Free fruit, hot and cold drinks in the office.

Your Profile

  • You are studying Corporate Social Responsibility / Sustainability or a business (engineering) degree with a corresponding focus in an advanced stage.
  • You have first-class references and want to develop further in a demanding work environment.
  • Ideally, you already have initial experience in the field of sustainability, gained as an intern, working student, or through volunteer work. Perhaps you already have initial professional experience in this area.
  • You enjoy research and have a strong analytical understanding. You summarize your reliable results in compelling presentations.
  • Your structured and self-reliant way of working is your trademark; at the same time, you are a genuine, reliable team player.
  • Your strong communication skills impress in both German and English, both spoken and written.
  • You are proficient in all standard office programs and may have already gained experience with Teams / SharePoint.
  • Ideally, you have skills in graphic and photo editing and have already come into contact with content management systems such as WordPress or Typo3.
  • You are highly motivated and committed to advancing the sustainability of the Körber Group and inspiring our stakeholders.
