About Us

With over 700 employees, we ensure the IT operations for 17,000 AOK users in the German states of Bavaria, Saxony, and Thuringia, supporting the health of nearly eight million customers of AOK Bayern and AOK PLUS. Our service portfolio ranges from the complete operation of technical systems, application support, and consulting to development. Our values – secure, flexible, and innovative – are lived daily, and our customers' concerns are handled individually. kubus IT is introducing a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) as infrastructures and applications in the cloud are becoming increasingly important to us.

Your Advancing Tasks

You will be responsible for the development and ongoing improvement of the cloud security architecture and compliance with kubus IT's specified cloud information security guidelines. You will support the Cloud Architect in creating and developing the cloud strategy and architecture, establish guidelines and standards for the secure use of cloud technologies, design organizational and technical policies for the secure use of the Cloud Management Platform (CMP), and assist cloud users in the secure deployment of cloud solutions. Your responsibilities also include contributing to the solution design of specific cloud architectures, identifying risks related to the cloud security architecture, designing, managing, and implementing additional security measures (e.g., a Cloud Workload Protection Platform), managing and developing security dashboards in the CMP, and analyzing problems and deriving measures resulting from tests or audits. Upholding quality standards for cloud usage is equally important. This includes: advising on projects and reviewing blueprints and ongoing deployments for compliance with security and compliance rules. You will monitor security recommendations for fixing misconfigurations and vulnerabilities with cloud service providers and derive necessary actions. You will identify and investigate security-relevant incidents and initiate measures in case of policy violations.

Your Skills

You have completed a degree in computer science. You communicate in German at least at C1 level and have English skills at least at B-level. You possess the following technical skills and experience: You have already methodically created cloud security architectures and implemented security requirements at the IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS level. You have experience in developing and documenting security policies for cloud usage. You have successfully designed and implemented a Cloud Security Posture Management. You have applied cloud security frameworks, standards, or best practices within cloud projects. Ideally, you have experience in designing and applying a Security Service Edge architecture. It would be great if you have successfully completed relevant cloud security certifications.

You possess the following personal attributes and skills: You are passionate and enthusiastic about new technologies and topics and are highly responsible. You think and act innovatively and networked, possess a high degree of initiative, and have strong conceptual skills. You communicate IT security diplomatically and with tact, viewing cloud security as an enabler. You are a strong communicator, enjoy working with diverse teams, and resolve conflicts creatively with technical expertise. You are also willing to undertake multi-day business trips.
