About Us
The Landbell Group is the leading provider of services and consulting for international environmental compliance. Our goal is to reduce the complexity surrounding extended producer responsibility and other product and packaging-related requirements for manufacturers and retailers, and to offer them the best solutions and offers. Operational Controller (m/f/d)
starting immediately, full-time, at our Mainz location
Shape the controlling of tomorrow with us -- in a company that advises the future.
Who we are looking for -- and for what:
We are looking for an experienced controller to take our financial world to a new level. Do you have a knack for numbers, a sense for structure, and ideally already worked in medium-sized corporate structures? Then you are exactly right with us.
What you will achieve with us:
- You will be responsible for processing, evaluating, and commenting on the quarterly and annual financial statements of subsidiaries -- on time, correctly, and transparently.
- You will further develop internal reporting and controlling tools.
- You will bring processes into structure, drive the digitalization of controlling, and establish modern tools.
- You will work closely with sales and purchasing as a sparring partner with a view of the big picture.
- You will assist in the preparation of documents for quantity reporting to authorities.
- Your end-to-end view of processes will identify interfaces, uncover dependencies, and reveal optimization potential.
What you should bring:
- Several years of experience in controlling, especially in reporting.
- A successfully completed business administration (technical) university degree with a focus on controlling/finance or a comparable degree.
- Analytical thinking, structured way of working, confident handling of common tools.
- Strong system and process thinking.
- You recognize interrelationships, understand interfaces, and anticipate the effects of changes on subsequent steps.
- Experience with MS Office (Excel and PowerQuery).
- Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA is an advantage.
- Interest in environmental/sustainability topics.
- Strong communication skills in dealing with customers and colleagues.
- Assertiveness, organizational skills, and the ability to keep an eye on the essential even in stressful situations.
- Good English skills, both written and spoken, are desirable.
This is what your workflow looks like:
- You will receive clear responsibilities, but also a lot of freedom for co-design.
- Quarterly structured closing process, supplemented by ad-hoc analyses and project tasks.
- You are part of our finance team, but work closely with various specialist departments.
What makes you -- and us -- special:
We don't want controlling from yesterday. We are looking for co-designers who turn numbers into stories and see the big picture. With us, you can make an impact -- for the environment, for people, for a better tomorrow.
What you will find with us:
- Work environment: interesting area of responsibility with exciting development opportunities and plenty of room for co-design in an international environment, personal and professional support from A to Z.
- Workplace: attractive offices with a roof terrace and a view of the Rhine in the Malakoff Passage with very good transport links.
- Work organization: flexible working hours and the option of mobile working.
- Further development: Further training opportunities tailored to your needs and abilities, free English lessons in small groups.
- Health: Company health management, e.g. webinars on health topics.
- Recreation: 30 days of vacation and additional time off on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
- Corporate culture: We live community and diversity -- whether during working hours, at our company events such as our Christmas party, or through joint participation in external events such as the Rhine Clean Up Day.
