About the Role
The administration of the Lörrach district is located in the heart of Lörrach, nestled between vineyards, the Rhine and Wiesental valleys, and in close proximity to Switzerland (Basel) and France (Alsace). Limited | Part-time 40% | EG 9a TVöD
What needs to be done?
The scope of duties includes processing applications for benefits under SGB VIII with the following focal points:
- Financial processing of benefits for the promotion of children in day-care facilities and in child day care (information and consultation meetings, checking prerequisites, deciding on benefit eligibility)
- Calculating, determining, and collecting cost contributions
- Asserting public law outstanding claims, including enforcement
- Processing objection and litigation proceedings
What is required?
- Completed training as a specialist in public administration (Verwaltungsfachangestellte/-r), judicial assistant (Justizfachangestellte/-r), or a comparable qualification
- Strong decision-making and communication skills
- Structured, goal-oriented, and independent way of working, with high resilience
- Social and intercultural competence, as well as a strong sense of responsibility
