The Landkreis Reutlingen is located in the immediate vicinity of the state capital Stuttgart and, as an economically and scenically diverse region, is part of the first biosphere reserve in Baden-Württemberg. We are looking for a qualified and responsible individual for our District Social Office, Jobcenter Department, to start as soon as possible, who is ready for extensive responsibilities and flexible working hours, as a Sachbearbeiter*in for the area of benefit entitlement

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Receive, process, decide on, and authorize payments for applications,
  • Advise on passive benefits according to SGB II.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Completed studies as Bachelor of Arts Public Management, further training as Verwaltungsfachwirtin (AG II), as a lawyer, Diplom-Sozialwirtin, Diplom-Sozialarbeiter*in (FH), Bachelor of Arts Social Work, or a comparable qualification with professional experience in the public sector,

    alternatively: completed training in the middle administrative service, as Verwaltungsfachangestellter, or completed further training as Verwaltungswirtin (AG I) with relevant professional experience,

  • Independent, self-directed, and responsible way of working,

  • Confident demeanor, as well as team and conflict skills,

  • Knowledge in the social sector is an advantage.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US:

  • A one-year fixed-term employment contract as an employee or civil servant, depending on qualifications and professional experience, up to pay group 9c TVöD (plus a so-called "Jobcenter allowance") or salary group A 10 g. D., in full-time. The position is generally divisible.
