Job Description

The Head of COO Supply Chain Solutions leads the global Supply Chain Solutions function within Business Platforms & Applications, driving strategy, transformation, and operational excellence across end-to-end supply chain systems.

  • Lead and scale a global Supply Chain Solutions organization, ensuring high performance, alignment, and collaboration across regions
  • Define and execute the end-to-end supply chain technology strategy aligned with business priorities and digital transformation initiatives
  • Serve as the senior IT partner to COO and Supply Chain leadership, translating business needs into scalable, value-driven solutions
  • Own, modernize, and optimize the global application portfolio across planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse operations
  • Drive large-scale transformation programs (e.g., ERP/SAP S/4HANA), process standardization, and system harmonization
  • Establish and enforce governance, standards, operating models, and best practices across the supply chain technology landscape
  • Lead cross-functional product teams and Business IT Integrated Teams (BITs) to ensure successful delivery and stakeholder alignment
  • Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and vendor/partner management, ensuring cost efficiency and value realization
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, data governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements
  • Drive innovation, continuous improvement, KPI performance, and talent development to enhance organizational effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Degree in IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in IT, digital transformation, or supply chain technology within complex, global organizations
  • Proven track record managing global teams and leading leaders, with strong experience in matrix and cross-functional environments
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale transformation programs (e.g., ERP/SAP S/4HANA), including business process redesign and change management
  • Deep functional expertise across end-to-end supply chain domains, including planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, and S&OP
  • Strong experience with enterprise platforms, including ERP (preferably SAP S/4HANA) and related systems such as WMS, TMS, APS, MES, and analytics tools
  • Solid understanding of enterprise architecture, system integration, data governance, and modern cloud-based application landscapes
  • Proven leadership capabilities in building high-performing teams, coaching leaders, and driving talent development and succession planning
  • Strong commercial and operational acumen, with experience managing budgets, vendors, and external service providers to deliver measurable business value
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills; fluent in English, with additional languages considered an advantage
