About us
LichtBlick has been promoting renewable energies since 1998. Today, with over 1.7 million LichtBlick customers, we are Germany's largest pure green electricity provider. Together, we save one million tons of CO2 per year. But we want to achieve much more: a forward-looking, fair future for everyone. We are shaping this future with a wide variety of talents in an inclusive working environment. As a signatory to the Diversity Charter, we are actively working on our attitude, our structures, and our cooperation. In doing so, we are pursuing the long-term goal of eliminating discrimination and establishing equal opportunities for all applicants and employees. So you are very welcome to make our team more colorful and the future greener.
LichtBlick is looking for you. Starting immediately. Part-time or full-time and permanent. For good energy in the field of technology.
Role purpose
You design and develop agentic AI applications based on LLMs - from the initial idea through prompt design and agent architecture to the productive solution. At the same time, you ensure that these solutions run on a solid technical foundation - from data integration and model access to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- You design and implement agentic AI applications with Microsoft Foundry and integrate them into an existing landscape of backend and frontend services
- You build RAG pipelines and data integrations so AI systems can access relevant knowledge and context
- You are responsible for testing, evaluation, and monitoring of AI applications - from response quality and latency to cost and usage patterns
- You make AI applications ready for production by applying responsible AI principles such as input/output filtering, PII protection, and red teaming
- For suitable use cases, you experiment with and use no-code/low-code platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio
- You work cross-functionally with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering colleagues, and actively contribute new developments in the GenAI space.
Your Skills
- Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable qualification
- Advanced software engineering skills in .NET/C# or Python combined with Azure
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Foundry and agent/RAG frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, Microsoft Agent Framework, or LangChain/LangGraph
- Advanced skills in prompt and context engineering as well as in evaluating response quality, grounding, latency, and cost
- Understanding of deployment best practices, security, and responsible AI
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a passion for sustainability
- Fluent written and spoken English. German skills are a plus
