What This Role Entails

This position blurs the lines between Software Engineer, Product Manager, and Product Designer. It's for individuals who:

  • Prioritize shipping the right thing over just writing code.

  • Prefer to shape the problem rather than wait for a perfect specification.
  • Possess a strong internal definition of "done" and advocate for it.

Baseline Requirements

  • Legal authorization to work in your location (ideally Germany, or EU-wide for the right candidate).
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Proven experience building and shipping digital products in production.

Helpful, But Not Mandatory

  • Native-level German and a deep understanding of German- or Swiss-speaking markets. This will significantly enhance your impact, particularly in the nuanced domain of pension insurance.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: EUR 84,000 - 105,000, with re-evaluation after 6-12 months.
  • Voluntary Bonuses: Historically 3-10% (company-wide, based on business performance), paid annually since 2019.
