Platform engineering is the foundation and mindset that we impart to our clients to accompany them throughout their cloud native transformation.\n\n### Responsibilities\n\n* You will support the architecture, design, and implementation of Kubernetes environments based on bare metal or IaaS platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS, VMware, OpenStack)\n* You will help with the execution of migrations to/from containerized environments and the design of highly available multi-cloud container orchestration environments\n* Together with the team, you will implement and automate CI/CD pipelines, as well as the automated deployment of environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)\n* Support with system and container hardening as well as the implementation of further cloud native security tools\n* You will gladly share your knowledge and help create relevant content for clients and interested parties about your field of activity (e.g., technical articles, blog posts, conference presentations)\n* You enjoy deepening your knowledge in further topics such as container orchestration, multi-cloud, edge cloud, cloud native application migration, serverless or microservice architecture\n\n### Qualifications\n\n* You have successfully completed a university degree in Computer Science, Mathematics (Business/Economics focus acceptable), Physics, or a related field\n* You are comfortable working with Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD/CKS certification is a plus)\n* You possess knowledge of distributed systems, storage, backup & recovery, scaling, and performance optimization\n* Understanding of agile methods and the DevOps philosophy; knowledge of automating CI/CD pipelines would be advantageous\n* Concepts, tools, or frameworks such as OpenShift, Mesos, Nomad, Microservices, Cloud Native Architectures, Self-Contained Systems are familiar to you\n* You have very good communication skills in English and German and are willing to travel nationally occasionally\n\n### Benefits\n\nIn addition to an attractive salary, we support your professional development.
