At our Düsseldorf location, we are responsible for the international handling of air and sea freight imports. In a small team with short decision-making processes, we coordinate cooperation between customers, agents, service providers, and customs authorities, ensuring the smooth flow of shipments.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for support in the area of air/sea freight import with immediate effect, on a permanent basis, and in full-time. Become part of our Düsseldorf location and actively shape international logistics.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WITH US
- Coordination and communication between service providers and customers in the area of air and sea freight import
- Processing of customs matters and ensuring timely clearance
- Maintaining contact with customers and agents, also in English
- Obtaining and creating offers for air and sea freight transport
- Monitoring and ensuring the timely execution of import orders

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU
- Completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally in the freight forwarding or logistics industry, e.g., as a Kaufmann/frau für Speditions- und Logistikdienstleistungen (m/f/d)
- Very good English skills in speaking and writing for communication with international customers and agents
- Basic knowledge of customs, experience in customs clearance is an advantage
- Team-oriented communication for close and smooth cooperation with customers, partners, and internal interfaces
- A driver's license is an advantage for occasional trips to customers or service providers on site
