AI Engineer | AI SaaS Platform - Remote

Our client is building a product where AI features aren't a bolt-on - they're the core. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who wants to own the full lifecycle: from idea through to production.

RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, model comparison - you'll be close to the problems that actually matter, working directly alongside product and engineering.

What you'll be working on

• Designing, building and maintaining AI features end-to-end - from concept to release
• Building and improving RAG systems including document parsing, chunking and retrieval
• Developing agentic systems to handle complex workflows for power users
• Creating infrastructure for evaluation, monitoring and continuous model improvement
• Testing the latest models, methods and tools pragmatically - and shipping what works
• Making fast, clean technical decisions in close collaboration with product and engineering

What they're looking for

• Hands-on experience building software products with LLM integration
• Strong software engineering fundamentals - you think in maintainable systems, not just prototypes
• Solid Python skills and familiarity with the AI/ML ecosystem
• A practical understanding of RAG and agentic systems
• High ownership mentality and the ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality
• Practical experience with coding agents

Nice to have

• Experience with C# & React
• B2 German (beneficial but not a hard requirement)

What's on offer

• €60,000 - €80,000 depending on experience
