Role: Appian Application Support Engineer (German Speaking)

Contract: 12 Months Location: Fully Remote

Partnering with a global system integrator that is scaling its Appian capability and requires an Appian Application Support Analyst (German Speaking) for a 12‑month contract, fully remote.

You'll be joining a mature Appian environment supporting enterprise‑grade workflows, integrations, and mission‑critical applications used across multiple business units. This role sits at the centre of production stability, continuous improvement, and technical leadership within the support function.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead end‑to‑end Appian application support across production and non‑production environments, ensuring stability, performance, and availability
  • Own incident, problem, and change management processes, including root‑cause analysis and SLA‑driven reporting
  • Deliver enhancements, integrations, and plug‑in updates across Appian Sites, Records, UX, and authentication frameworks
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams to optimise system performance, streamline workflows, and drive best‑practice adoption

What You Bring:

  • Strong background in Appian application support and BPM‑based solution development across Appian 19.x--21.x+
  • Hands‑on experience with SQL Server/MySQL, SOAP/REST services, HTML/XML/JSON, and enterprise tools such as JIRA/Confluence/Rally
  • Deep capability across Appian Sites, Records, UX design, SAML, OAuth, and integration patterns in cloud/on‑prem environments
  • Proven ability to lead support engagements, manage stakeholders, and deliver enhancements within Agile delivery models
