About Lunar
Lunar is a young and global-minded venture capital firm that partners with highly technical founders from the very beginning - often before a company exists. We back scientists and engineers building real technology, not just chasing trends. We've been early to emerging technologies such as AI, data infrastructure, biotech, and aerospace, creating an aggregate enterprise value exceeding $1.5B. Our current early bets are in data infrastructure, tech bio, autonomy, and aerospace, among others.
Our team comes from technical and operational backgrounds. We pride ourselves in diving in and asking deep questions --- and in working closely with founders from day zero.
Working at Lunar means working closely to the next wave of emergent ideas and themes, and having a tangible role in helping the most ambitious founders succeed on a global stage.
About the Role
We're looking for a Chief of Staff to work directly with Lunar's three partners and help the fund operate at its best. This is a high-trust, high-visibility role focused on operations, coordination, and execution - turning moving parts into clarity and momentum.
You'll help bring structure to a fast-moving environment: making sure meetings turn into action, communication flows clearly, and priorities stay on track. Some days you'll focus on coordination - calendars, travel, and logistics. Other days, you'll improve systems and processes that make the team more effective or help manage our growing network of founders, investors, and collaborators.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys bringing clarity and structure to complex, fast-moving situations, and understands the rhythm of the venture and startup world.
What You'll Do
- Keep things running smoothly. Manage calendars, meetings, travel, and day-to-day logistics with precision and care - keeping everything organized, efficient, and moving forward.
- Create order and flow. Turn discussions into clear actions, keep priorities visible, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Build smart systems. Improve workflows, documentation, and communication tools that help us scale without friction.
- Support relationships. Coordinate founder, investor, and partner interactions --- making sure the right follow-ups happen at the right time.
- Plan and run internal and external events - from company offsite to founder meetups, and investor gatherings that build connection and momentum across the ecosystem.
- Own special projects. Lead initiatives across operations, investor communications, and process improvements that move Lunar forward.
- Stay one step ahead. Anticipate needs, surface priorities, and help the partners focus on what creates the most impact.
About You
- 5 years in operations, executive support, or chief-of-staff-type roles - ideally in startups, tech, or investment environments.
- Skilled at managing complex calendars, coordinating travel, and organizing events end to end.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills; calm under pressure and proactive by default.
- Strong command of tools like Google Workspace, Notion, CRMs, and automation platforms.
- You value clarity, structure, and follow-through --- but stay flexible and adaptable as things evolve.
Nice To Have
- Experience in a high-growth startup or small VC firm.
- Exposure to project management, events, or investor/founder relations.
- Curiosity for tech, innovation, and how things work.
- Tech-savvy and eager to learn new tools (Notion, CRMs, automation, AI assistants).
Why Lunar
At Lunar, we keep things simple and move fast. We operate with trust, clear communication, and a focus on meaningful impact. You'll work side-by-side with the general partners, helping shape how Lunar grows and operates as we continue to back the next generation of deep-tech founders.
We're a remote first team and open to candidates anywhere within the EU
