As Subscription Manager, you will take holistic responsibility for our subscription business – one of our highest-revenue and strategically most important areas. You will further develop our strategy and roadmap, take ownership of key KPIs such as retention, LTV, and MRR, and optimize the entire subscriber journey to ensure sustainable and profitable growth. This role offers you the opportunity to significantly shape and scale a key growth driver at mammaly in the long term.

Tasks

  • You will take strategic responsibility for our subscription business and develop and manage our medium- and long-term subscription roadmap.
  • You will be responsible for and optimize the entire subscriber journey – from onboarding to retention to win-back and loyalty – with the goal of increasing engagement, customer loyalty, MRR, and subscriber profitability.
  • You will take ownership of key subscription KPIs such as retention, LTV, and MRR and ensure their sustainable development.
  • You will ensure the implementation of our cross-functional subscription initiatives and be responsible for strategic alignment with stakeholders, management, and C-level.
  • You will develop and optimize automated and personalized subscriber flows (email, SMS) together with the CRM team.
  • You will conceptualize and analyze A/B tests on pricing, offers, and incentives, and derive concrete optimizations for the acquisition funnel and subscription conversion rate.
  • You will improve our self-service subscription management experience, including by building our own subscription portal and/or app.
  • You will monitor and analyze our subscription KPIs (AOV, LTV, churn, cohorts) and derive data-based decisions and roadmap priorities.
  • You will continuously monitor market, competitor, and US developments to identify development impulses early on.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years in subscription, CRM, retention, lifecycle, or DTC growth
  • Proven experience in building or scaling subscription models, ideally in the DTC or e-commerce environment
  • Strong analytical understanding and experience with subscription KPIs, cohort analyses, and data-driven decisions
  • Experience in managing and implementing cross-functional projects with teams from marketing, product, tech, SCM, CRM, and CS
  • High technical affinity and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new tools and topics
  • Strong hands-on mentality as well as a structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working with high ownership
  • Fluent German and English skills

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with relevant subscription, CRM, and analytics tools (e.g., Loop, Shopify, Klaviyo, GetKlar)
  • Experience with Figma, Canva, or other creative tools
