Requirements

Must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken (at least C1 level), and good German skills (at least B2 level)
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on AWS
  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CDK or CloudFormation
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like ECS+Fargate and Kubernetes
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog, or Grafana
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident in connecting with technical and non-technical audiences when communicating complex topics

Responsibilities:

  • Work together with international product teams to form an API platform for our vehicles across 5 brands
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS
  • Manage and monitor existing CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment processes
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for cost and performance
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate user and API platform requirements into the cloud environment
  • Consult product teams to follow company governance
  • Ensure security best practices are followed and implement necessary security measures
  • Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
  • Stay updated with the latest AWS services and features to continuously improve the platform
  • Enable product teams to have stable and reliable managed accounts
  • Support the introduction of an operation model
  • Coordinate and initiate audits
  • Support colleagues with expertise and act as a contact for cloud and DevOps topics
