About the role:

The Working Student will support the Compliance, ISMS Team as well as Risk Manager functions by developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Information Security Management System. The role focuses on operational execution, documentation, and coordination activities that are essential to maintaining compliance with applicable laws, standards, and internal governance frameworks.

You will contribute to:

• Developing and maintaining the ISMS to ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
• Supporting the Information Security Risk Management Framework and the Internal Audit Program, including identification, documentation, and follow-up of non-conformities.
• Assisting in the identification of key information security risks and tracking mitigation and remediation measures.
• Monitoring progress of ISMS-related actions carried out by asset owners and risk owners and supporting reporting activities.

Responsibilities:

• Support the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the ISMS in line with ISO 27001.
• Assist in coordinating and tracking remediation actions for audit findings, risks, and non-conformities.
• Support internal audits and surveillance audit preparation activities.
• Maintain ISMS documentation, registers, and evidence required for audit readiness.
• Assist with risk assessments, risk treatment tracking, and reporting.
• Support coordination with internal stakeholders, including IT, Business Operations, People, and Legal teams.

Requirements:

• Enrolled student (Bachelor's or Master's) in Information Security, Information Systems, IT Security, Cybersecurity, or a closely related ISMS-focused discipline.
• Strong interest in Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), ISO/IEC 27001, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Basic understanding of information security principles (CIA triad, risk assessment, controls, policies, procedures).
• Affinity for governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) topics with a structured and methodical working style.
• Ability to work with documentation, processes, and evidence in an audit-driven environment.
• Technical curiosity and ability to understand security concepts without being a purely engineering or development role.
• Very good organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in follow-through.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
