MK Masterwork produces state-of-the-art folding carton gluing and peripheral machines, providing customers with the foundation for sustainable, environmentally friendly, and sophisticated packaging. Whether with our Diana machine series, successful for over 60 years, or with our expertise in robotics, we are the optimal partner for our customers, offering a comprehensive package for the development of individual packaging solutions.

Our innovation hub is located in Neuss. A team of currently 25 dedicated experts in mechanical and electrical engineering works daily on the development and optimization of our machines, robots, and associated software. A large in-house testing area with our latest prototypes supports us in this endeavor. The machines are manufactured in our plant in Slovakia.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of existing machine software and conception of a uniform software architecture
• Ensuring internal quality standards in software creation, functional testing, and documentation
• Handling various tasks in machine control and drive technology
• Conception and design of software algorithms and structures for machine control
• Error analysis of software and components used, including support for visualizing system states
• Testing of machine control and drive technology
• Support in hardware project planning as well as selection and design of required components
• Organization of knowledge transfer to our production
• Remote maintenance of our machines

Qualifications

• Master's degree (Science or Engineering) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a specialization in Automation Technology.
• Initial professional experience in developing machines for small-batch production.
• Proficiency in PLC programming according to IEC 61131; Beckhoff TwinCAT knowledge is an advantage.
• A plus, but not a requirement: Experience in the design and optimization of drive controllers and motors for controller-based automation.
• Project experience and appreciation for good teamwork.
• Good English language skills.
• Professional experience is advantageous, but we also offer opportunities for career starters.
