Expansion Manager (m/f/d) Real Estate

To strengthen our real estate department in our Service Center, we are looking for you as an Expansion Manager (m/f/d) Real Estate at the earliest possible date. The focus is on Northern and Southern Germany. A place of residence in Hamburg, Düsseldorf or Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg would be desirable.

This is where you get fully involved:

• Within your assigned expansion area, you will evaluate catchment areas and analyze the macro and micro factors of a location with regard to its suitability for a new McDonald's restaurant.
• You acquire locations independently and convince owners, landlords, project developers and local authorities to work with McDonald's.
• From the initial contact to the drafting of contracts, the creation of building rights, through to the takeover of space, construction phase and opening of the new restaurant, you will be responsible for the project together with your colleagues in the Construction department and thus drive the expansion of McDonald's in Germany.
• You have a strong network in the real estate market, are a good communicator and have experience negotiating with contractual partners, authorities and other external stakeholders.
• Internally, you will work closely with colleagues from the Legal and Finance departments and develop and negotiate real estate contracts (purchase, lease, rent) and decision papers until they are ready to be signed.

What we want from you:

• Completed real estate-specific training and/or completed (specialist) university studies in the field of real estate management
• relevant professional experience, ideally in the area of expansion
• Very good knowledge and experience in contract management
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent German and good English skills
• A high degree of willingness to travel
• Very good knowledge of MS Office
