Brief Description:
You will be responsible for the entire content of a lifestyle & entertainment YouTube channel -- from conception to approval. At the same time, you will build your own department and independently develop formats for social media.
Main Responsibilities:
- Take content ownership of the YouTube channel from conception to approval.
- Build social media channels and independently develop formats.
- Direct shoots: Actively guide presenters and actors.
- Embed dramaturgy and content guidelines specifically into formats.
- Coordinate external agencies and service providers.
- Structure own department: Build processes, roles, and workflows.
- Define, prioritize, and delegate work packages to employees or freelancers.
- Ensure regular strategic alignment with lead and management.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in the development and implementation of video content, ideally in the entertainment or lifestyle sector.
- Initial leadership experience or demonstrable experience in project management with multiple stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of YouTube mechanics (retention, hooks, thumbnails, algorithm).
- A genuine feel for storytelling and narrative design (dramaturgical structuring).
- Structured, independent way of working with strong initiative.
