About medsolve

medsolve stands for seamless IT in healthcare. We digitize and manage the IT infrastructure of practices, medical centers, and clinics -- from workstations & networks to practice software and telematics infrastructure. Our goal: fewer downtimes, more time for patients. We work pragmatically, quickly, and on an equal footing.

Responsibilities

  • Remote from home office: Support, error analysis, and solutions via telephone/remote tools (1st/2nd level, depending on experience).
  • On-site at the customer's premises (nationwide): Installations, rollouts, troubleshooting, and commissioning (workstations, network, print/scan, card readers, possibly connected devices).
  • Systems & Infrastructure: Windows clients/servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VPN/WLAN/firewall basics, backup/restore.
  • Healthcare IT (depending on expertise): TI/KIM, connector environment, eHBA/SMC-B, clean documentation, and handovers.
  • Customer proximity & service orientation: Nationwide assignments at customer sites, solution-oriented consulting, and a high degree of service readiness.
  • Documentation: Short, comprehensible documentation (checklists, tickets, handovers) to ensure solutions are repeatable.

Qualifications

Must-haves

  • Experience in IT support/IT operations/IT service (training as a specialist in system integration is desirable, but not mandatory with relevant practical experience).
  • Solid understanding of Windows, networks, and structured troubleshooting.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide (on-site customer appointments are part of the job).
  • Driver's license class B.
  • Very good German language skills (customer-ready).

Nice to have (not disqualifying)

  • AD/M365 administration, VPN/firewall/WLAN, virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware).
  • Experience with practice software, TI/KIM, or medical interfaces (e.g., DICOM/PACS).
  • PowerShell basics.

Benefits

  • Remote-first: You work from your home office -- you do not need to come to the office to be productive.
  • Variety instead of constant travel: Remote support is a core component; on-site assignments are added depending on projects and tickets.
  • Predictability: Customer appointments are coordinated within the team; clean handovers and standards instead of "chaotic assignments."
  • Development: Onboarding, checklists, knowledge transfer -- you don't have to know everything; willingness to learn is important.
  • Equipment: Professional setup for remote work (laptop/phone) and modern tools.

If you enjoy working remotely but also like hands-on technical work with customers, this role is for you. Reliability, clean work, and willingness to travel in Germany are key -- not mastering every specialty yet.
