Co-Founder (Business & Sales) | mindfuel
Location: Remote (Ideally Hamburg-based for occasional meet-ups) Compensation: Equity-based
A Note on the Role:
As we are currently in the pre-seed phase and focused on building our MVP, this is an equity-only role at this stage. We are looking for a true partner who is ready to invest their time and expertise in exchange for a significant stake in mindfuel's future as we work towards our first funding round.
Rebuilding Cognitive Capacity
Mindfuel is not just another health application. Our mission is to enable individuals to rebuild and strengthen their cognitive capacity through precision nutrition to better handle high cognitive demands---preventatively and in the moment. While traditional methods like meditation and yoga build resilience, mindfuel starts one step earlier by providing personalised cognitive healthcare. We lay the groundwork for a better response to stress in an increasingly demanding environment. We operate in the "Food as Medicine" health-tech sector, providing a clinically integrated tool that goes beyond general wellness. We are currently in the exciting phase of turning our core concept into a functional MVP and are looking for a business-focused partner to help us build the foundation.
The Role: Building the Foundation
As a Co-Founder, you have the opportunity to grow the commercial side of mindfuel. We are looking for an entrepreneur at heart---someone who finds as much satisfaction in the "nitty-gritty" of operational setup as in the high-level strategy. You aren't just joining a company; you are helping to build one from the ground up.
1. Sales & Market Validation
- Growing our Community: You will lead the sales effort, identifying early adopters and securing the partnerships that will bring mindfuel to those who benefit from it the most.
- Validating the Vision: You will work closely with the team to test our assumptions, talk to our users, and support the iteration of the product until we achieve a perfect fit for the market.
- User Advocacy: You will act as the voice of the user within the team, ensuring our business decisions always serve the user and deliver true value
2. Refining the Funding Strategy
- Capital Strategy: You will support the refinement and execution of our funding strategy, helping us articulate our progress to investors and secure the resources needed for growth.
- Investor Relations: Together with the founding team, you will build and maintain transparent relationships with angels and VCs who share our vision.

- Numeracy & Logic: You are comfortable with calculations and understand how the small numbers drive the big-picture strategy.
- Hands-on Mentality: You are willing to do the manual work required to get the MVP off the ground, from administration to outreach.
- Regulatory Awareness: An understanding of GDPR and the sensitivities of handling health data is a significant plus.
