With 95% of our business dedicated to customs clearance, we are at the forefront of ensuring seamless global trade operations.\n\n## The Role\n\nWe are looking for an Airfreight Agent (m/w/d) -- 100% to join our Global team. This position is fully remote and based in Germany or Spain. In this position, you will be responsible for managing airfreight operations and handling customs-related tasks.\n\nIf you are passionate about logistics, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have expertise in airfreight operations and customs regulations, we'd love to hear from you!\n\n### What you will do:\n\n* Coordinate and oversee airfreight shipments across all company branches, managing domestic and international transport flows.\n* Prepare and administer all required shipping documentation, including airway bills and customs papers.\n* Liaise with all parties involved (shippers, consignees, carriers, airlines) to ensure smooth transport.\n* Prepare necessary customs documentation and collaborate with customs authorities, ensuring compliance with all legal and international trade regulations.\n* Update customers on shipment status, handle inquiries, and resolve complaints professionally.\n* Monitor airfreight shipments to ensure on-time delivery, track delays, and resolve issues in the transport process.\n* Work closely with airport handling services, warehouses, and carriers to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.\n* Maintain customer database, document all transactions, and produce regular reports on shipment status and performance.\n* Provide occasional evening and weekend on-call support (approximately 1 week/month) according to company policy and local labor regulations, with on-call compensation.\n\n### What you will need:\n\n* Completed training or education in logistics, freight forwarding, or a comparable field.\n* Minimum 1 year experience in airfreight or international logistics is a plus.\n* Solid knowledge of airfreight and customs regulations.\n* Excellent communication skills in German and English.\n* Independent, structured, and detail-oriented work approach.\n* Strong team player, able to work under pressure.\n* Proficient in MS Office and common logistics software.\n* Willingness to work late shifts (until 23:00) and participating in evening and week-end on-call (occasionally - approx. 1 week / month).\n\n### What we offer:\n\n* A unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing and innovative logistics company, where your work directly impacts our success.\n* Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options, to support your work-life balance.\n* The chance to take on a key role in shaping the future of an industry leader, with real opportunities for career growth and development.\n* A collaborative and forward-thinking work environment that values your ideas, fosters innovation, and encourages professional growth.\n\nWe look forward to receiving your application.
