Software Engineer (m/f/d) Python

Requirements

Must have:

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, mathematics, physics, or engineering
• Several years of experience as a software engineer
• Fluent in Python and able to navigate large codebases
• Advanced analytical skills and a drive to understand algorithms and code essence
• Motivated, team-oriented, and appreciative of clean code
• A work permit for working in the EU is required

Plus points:

• Experience with client/server architecture and multi-threaded software
• Experience with near-hardware programming (e.g., interfacing with cameras and sensors)
• Experience with Linux and CI pipelines

Responsibilities:

• Discussing and clarifying requirements with internal domain experts
• Designing and developing algorithms optimized over various layers of the software stack
• Designing and developing software that interacts with specific hardware components
• Continuously optimizing software functionalities and quality for better scalability and performance
