Project Manager Role
Managing and coordinating IT projects and sub-projects of medium to high complexity, while supporting PMO activities in dynamic project environments. Responsible for planning, execution, controlling, stakeholder coordination, reporting, risk and change management, and administrative project support using both classical and agile project management approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, plan, and execute projects and sub-projects.
- Perform PMO activities such as risk management, workshop preparation and moderation, and database maintenance.
- Maintain and manage project data in tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, and Jira.
- Monitor schedules, milestones, requirements, deliverables, dependencies, stakeholder inputs, and budgets.
- Manage dependencies, changes, configurations, and risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Handle stakeholder management and support the resolution of target and interest conflicts.
- Support governance activities, communication, and reporting.
- Carry out administrative tasks including meeting coordination, quality assurance, onboarding/offboarding support, and list maintenance.
- Prepare templates, standards, and supporting documentation.
- Contribute to special topics and project-specific support activities.
Required Qualifications
- German language proficiency at C1 level according to CEFR.
- Good working knowledge of common project tools including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, MS Project, and Atlassian Jira.
- Completed degree in business informatics, computer science, a comparable IT-related field, or business studies with an IT focus; alternatively, a recognized vocational qualification in an IT-related profession.
- Knowledge of general project management methods and agile approaches, ideally supported by a recognized project management certification and agile training or certification.
Professional Experience
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in managing IT projects of medium complexity or sub-projects of higher complexity.
- Experience in PMO activities within the IT sector.
- Practical experience in applying common project management methods and working in agile project environments, including at least 2 years in agile projects.

- Sense of responsibility, initiative, independence, and decision-making ability.
- High reliability and strong coordination skills.
- Ability to present information in a structured, consistent, and credible manner.
