Data Scientist (m/w/d)

You build machine learning models not for internal demos, but for real business processes that measurably improve: through better forecasts, smarter automation, or deeper customer insights. And you're looking for an environment where technical decisions are made at eye level -- not dictated?

Then we're on the same wavelength. We are looking for a Data Scientist (m/f/d) who is independently responsible from the first data question to ongoing monitoring -- 100% remote from anywhere in Germany.

Your Daily Impact:

• Develop ML models that run in live operation -- e.g., for demand planning, customer segmentation, or process optimization
• Build stable, maintainable data pipelines that function overnight without your intervention
• Work with data as it truly arrives: incomplete, inconsistent, sometimes contradictory
• Integrate your solutions early into product and business processes -- so they are used, not just built
• Define success together with the business: What counts? Time savings? Conversion rate? Error rate?
• Actively shape our MLOps approach -- with cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), container technologies, and modern orchestration tools

Your Experience:

• Several completed ML projects in production environments -- not just proof-of-concepts
• Sound knowledge of Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and SQL
• Practical experience with cloud platforms and model deployment
• Understanding of statistical significance and the setup of valid experiments (e.g., A/B tests)
• Good German or English skills (min. B2) -- depending on the team composition
• A university degree or a convincing, documented portfolio (GitHub, case studies, blog posts)
