IT-Solution Engineer (End User Services & Workplace) (m/w/d)

Requirements

Must have:

• At least 5 years of experience in IT, ideally in the area of workplace, endpoint, and service processes
• Sound know-how in endpoint/MDM concepts and confident handling of modern technologies and standards
• Independent, structured, and proactive way of working
• Business management knowledge and experience in service management
• Experience in carrying out and participating in IT projects -- from analysis to successful implementation
• German language skills at C1/C2 level and English language skills at B2/C1 level
• Sound knowledge in at least one of the following technologies:
  • Endpoint Management / MDM (e.g., Microsoft Intune)
  • Asset Management / CMDB / Lifecycle
  • Azure Virtual Desktop / Virtualization of workstations
  • Network Access / Remote Access (ZTNA and comparable solutions)
  • Workplace/Collaboration (conference solutions, room/booking solutions)
  • Support & Operations Processes (ITIL-based, service quality, standardization)

Responsibilities:

• Record and evaluate IT requirements in the workplace/endpoint context and advise on suitable solutions
• Product management of internal IT services (Workplace/Endpoint/Asset)
• Communicate and represent the global IT strategy to the netgo entities
• Ensure service quality in close cooperation with internal customers and service providers
• Steer and coordinate IT service providers
• Centrally communicate changes to IT services
• Plan and implement Proof of Concepts (e.g., MDM/Endpoint/AVD/Meeting rooms)
• Facilitate decisions and accompany technical handovers
• Create and maintain IT architecture (Workplace/Endpoint/Locations)
• Plan and control IT budget
• Develop sourcing strategy
• Manage contracts and procurement
• Optimize IT processes together with internal customers and delivery
• Steer IT housekeeping and outsource operational tasks
• Prioritize projects according to overall strategy
