Junior Sales Manager

Location: Düsseldorf area, Germany

Working pattern: Hybrid, one day a week in the office

Salary: Up to €45,000 base + bonus

We are working with a fast-growing SaaS business in the hospitality and travel technology space. Their platform helps hotels and independent accommodation providers manage bookings, guests and distribution more efficiently through one central system.

They are now looking to hire a Junior Sales Manager to support growth across the DACH region. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their sales career, or someone with some sales exposure in a customer-focused environment, who wants to build strong commercial experience within a growing tech business.

The role

You will spend most of your time speaking with prospective customers over the phone, understanding their needs and introducing a software solution that can genuinely improve the way they run their business. This is a high-energy role suited to someone who is confident on the phone, motivated by targets, and keen to develop their career in sales.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Making outbound calls to prospective customers across the DACH region, alongside handling inbound enquiries
  • Building an understanding of each prospect's business and identifying where the product can add value
  • Booking and delivering online product demonstrations
  • Generating and qualifying leads for the wider sales team
  • Maintaining accurate records using a CRM system
  • Following up with prospects via phone and email
  • Working closely with marketing, onboarding and customer teams to support overall revenue goals

About you

This role would suit someone at an early stage in their commercial career who enjoys speaking to people and is looking to build a future in sales.

Must have:

  • Native-level German, or business-level German with full professional fluency
  • Conversational English for internal communication
  • The right to work in Germany
  • Strong communication skills and confidence on the phone
  • A proactive, resilient mindset and genuine interest in sales
  • The ability to stay organised in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using basic office tools and learning new systems quickly
  • Some previous sales exposure in any environment

We are open on background for this hire. Candidates could come from a range of sales or customer-facing roles, as long as they have had some exposure to sales and are motivated to build on it.

Suitable backgrounds could include:

  • Telesales
  • Call centre sales or customer contact centre roles
  • Junior inside sales or sales support
  • Payments or payment systems sales
  • Hospitality or front-of-house roles with a commercial element
  • Other customer-facing positions where there has been exposure to upselling, lead generation or outbound calling
