Your Responsibilities

  • Creation of technical drawing documents for applications and permits in the areas of railway operating facilities, track construction, civil engineering, signal technology, and rental and concession agreements.
  • The role involves close collaboration with responsible project managers and specialist departments, encompassing both supportive and independent tasks.
  • Planning, construction supervision, tendering, evaluation, and invoicing of construction and maintenance measures for railway operating facilities (all service phases of HOAI) in coordination with technical management.
  • Regarding construction measures: Preparation of cost estimates, construction site coordination, construction supervision, and documentation of work.
  • Support in applying for subsidies (e.g., according to AEG, SGFFG, and state-specific funding programs) and in compiling the necessary application documents.
  • Organization, execution, and documentation in operational service, such as during regular inspections and event-related checks of the track network. This includes, but is not limited to: track superstructure, level crossings, switches, crossings, clearance profiles, pull-off devices, track lighting, conveyor systems, cable trays, and other facilities and equipment such as buffer stops, track scales, and track gates.
  • Support in documenting derailments and accidents in railway operations, as well as creating technical drawings for analysis and documentation.
  • Participation in project work—from preparation and technical processing to documentation.
  • Integration and evaluation of structural calculations, soil reports, existing plans, and other planning data for incorporation into technical documents.
  • Organization and coordination of winter services / green space maintenance.
  • Plan creation using AutoCAD, including the integration and review of third-party data, and participation in software maintenance.
  • Maintenance and updating of the database (cadastral and track plans), ensuring data quality and traceability.

Your Profile

Your Qualifications

  • Technician degree or possibly a university degree with a specialization in civil engineering, track construction, signal technology, traffic engineering, or comparable qualifications.

Skills

  • IT Skills: MS Office, AutoCAD, tendering software ORCA, knowledge in civil engineering/track construction/signal technology (all HOAI service phases), CAD specialist training.
