(Senior) Cloud Engineer (f/m/d) Azure Platform

Requirements

Must have:

• Confident work with Microsoft Azure in productive environments.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform and/or Ansible following modern engineering standards, by creating CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
• Scripting in Python to support automation, tooling, and operational scenarios.
• Integration of IT security and regulatory requirements (including KRITIS) into concepts and daily operations.
• Holistic thinking, applying a platform-engineering mindset to improve architectures, processes, and overall service quality.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Shaping and continuously developing our cloud infrastructure and platform with a strong focus on quality.
• Driving IT projects from concept and evaluation to implementation, operation, and support.
• Automating processes and infrastructure using Terraform or Ansible to ensure scalable, consistent environments.
• Implementing and operating CI/CD pipelines to enable smooth and secure deployments.
• Supporting mission-critical systems by being part of the 24/7 on-call rotation and responding to alerts in a timely manner.
• Collaborating closely with architects and with your agile, international team to create guidelines, best practices, and shared engineering standards while mentoring and supporting colleagues in their professional growth.
