Position Summary

Babyliss is seeking a motivated, strategic, and hands-on Country Sales Manager Germany to lead the sales agenda for the German market. The position reports directly to the Managing Director Germany, Austria and Benelux.

The role includes full responsibility for the German sales organization, encompassing Key Account Management, Field Sales and local online marekting. A central focus of the position is the further expansion of the company's online and omnichannel performance while simultaneously strengthening the offline sales structure and improving commercial processes such as forecasting, delivery reliability, and sales execution.

This role is critical in shaping the future of Babyliss in Germany and supports major retailers across e-commerce, consumer electronics, drugstores, fashion and beauty e-tailers, and omnichannel partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the German commercial organization including Key Account Managers, Field Sales team and online marketing
  • Deliver and exceed sales, market share, and profitability targets
  • Drive strong omnichannel performance with a dedicated focus on further developing e-commerce capabilities

Strengthen sales processes, including:

  • Forecasting and demand planning
  • Sales reporting and KPI management
  • Delivery reliability and supply coordination
  • Support and steer central negotiations with key retailers and strategic partners
  • Ensure strong brand presence and execution across online and offline channels
  • Manage day-to-day collaboration with other functions (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, European HQ)
  • Monitor competitive activities, market dynamics, and new opportunities across all relevant sales channels
  • Foster a culture of performance, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity within the team

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in Sales or Commercial Management, ideally with a strong Key Account Management background
  • Proven success in both e-commerce and offline / brick-and-mortar retail environments with a slightly higher focus on eCommerce.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop teams
  • Experience working with e-commerce pure players, electronics retailers, drugstores, fashion or beauty e-tailers, or comparable omnichannel environments
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in forecasting, planning, and process optimization
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Business-driven mindset, high level of accountability, and the ability to implement change
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Willingness to work regularly from the Munich office and travel as required
