About the Role

As a Product Manager (m/f/d) opti.node Cockpit at node energy, you will be part of our cross-functional product team and act as the CEO for our "Commercial Asset Management Cockpit". Based on your energy industry expertise and product development skills, you will drive the strategic advancement of our opti.node Cockpit. You will keep an eye on the market and ensure that we can further expand our successful market position.

Our software opti.node consolidates all data for the commercial operation of wind and PV plants and automates complex administrative tasks and energy industry business processes. Our customers not only save hundreds of hours of tedious and error-prone work with Excel lists, but they also become digital energy providers of the new generation. Today, operators of more than 14,000 wind and PV plants, which generate more than a third of German green electricity, already rely on opti.node.

And this is where you come in: We are looking for you as a Product Manager (m/f/d) opti.node Cockpit, ideally full-time, as soon as possible for our remote-first team with locations in Frankfurt and Freiburg. We look forward to getting to know you!

Responsibilities


  • You will be responsible for the strategic further development of the opti.node Cockpit and ensure the successful implementation of the product vision and strategy, as well as tactical initiatives.
  • You will observe the target market, define relevant target groups, and identify the corresponding market problems.
  • You will ensure the economic success of the opti.node Cockpit and are responsible for the P&L.
  • In the process, you will keep an eye on the budget and deliver data-driven insights on product development and product portfolio.
  • You will be responsible for go-to-market strategies and derive implications and measures for the business model, pricing, (product) positioning, and buyer personas.
  • You will actively manage stakeholders within the cross-functional product team, with our target groups, and other external stakeholders.

Qualifications


  • You have an academic background in energy management, business informatics with a focus on energy management, or a comparable qualification.
  • You have sound expertise and market knowledge in the field of wind energy and PV plants as well as battery storage and are familiar with the tasks and processes of commercial operation for operators and managers of electricity from renewable energies.
  • You are excellently familiar with the essential regulatory requirements (EEG, EnWG, StromStG).
  • You have extensive experience in new product and further development, as well as in pricing and monetization strategies.
  • You have already achieved demonstrable successes in the market launch and go-to-market strategies of B2B SaaS products.
  • You are very familiar with the Agile Scrum Methodology and corresponding tools (e.g., Atlassian Tool Suite).
  • You are characterized by noticeable resilience and can bring tasks to a successful conclusion even in the face of adversity and in a dynamic environment.
  • You communicate reliably, target-group-specifically, and solution-oriented with various stakeholders and have native German language skills (our company language).
