For this diverse environment, we are seeking a Senior Data Architect (w/m/x) to develop and manage the overarching data architecture for our clients.

Your Mission

• Advise our clients at the enterprise level on architecture and data management solutions, with a focus on at least one hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Conceive and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms, both in the cloud and on-premises.
• Develop and present innovative offerings for new and existing clients.
• Position yourself as a thought leader in the Data community and contribute your expertise effectively.
• Take responsibility within the Data Architecture team and actively shape the further development of the area.

Your Skillset

• Completed technical degree (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering) and several years of experience in a technical architecture role and consulting experience.
• Experience in technical client consulting and solution selling, with in-depth expertise in data architecture, data engineering, and data governance.
• Experience in the conception and implementation of cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), as well as with big data and streaming technologies. Familiarity with modern data architectures (e.g., Data Mesh, Event-Driven Architecture), architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), and technologies like SQL, Python, Spark, and Kafka.
• An analytical, structured, and solution-oriented personality with a deep understanding of data architectures and their business value.
• Strong communication skills in German and English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts understandably to management and business departments.
• High customer orientation and convincing ability to think and communicate interdisciplinarily.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, and identify potential early on – actively utilizing opportunities for development.
