- Associate Product Manager (Europe)
About The Role
We are building a full-stack travel proposition (Flights, Hotels, Experiences) for one of the largest telecom operators in Europe , as part of a new lifestyle ecosystem embedded within their core app.
This is not a feature role. This is 0→1 scale ownership.
You will define, build, and scale the travel category end-to-end --- from supply integrations and pricing strategy to UX, conversion, and loyalty integration.
This is a permanent work from home and a remote role. We are looking for someone from Europe.
What You'll Own
- Category Ownership: Build and scale Flights, and Hotels as a core revenue vertical
- Supplier Ecosystem:
- Integrate and manage GDS, aggregators, and direct suppliers
- Own commercial constructs, margins, and inventory strategy
- Pricing & Monetization:
- Define markup strategy, discounting, and conversion levers
- Balance revenue vs competitiveness across markets
- Product Experience:
- Drive end-to-end user journey: discovery → search → booking → post-booking
- Optimize for conversion, trust, and repeat usage
- Loyalty Integration:
- Deep integration with telecom loyalty programs (earn/burn, promotions, gamification)
- Go-to-Market:
- Launch across multiple European markets with localization (currency, language, compliance)
- Cross-functional Leadership:
- Work with engineering, design, partnerships, and telecom stakeholders
What Makes This Role Interesting (and Hard)
- You are building travel inside a non-travel platform (telco) → different user intent, different funnels
- You need to solve for aggregation differentiation, not just aggregation
- You'll operate across multiple countries in Europe with varying user behavior and regulations
- You'll balance ecosystem dependencies (partners, pricing, loyalty) with product experience
What We're Looking For
- Strong travel domain expertise
- Experience in flights/hotels OTA, meta, or supplier side
- Deep understanding of GDS (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre), aggregators, and supply economics
- Product leadership experience
- Built or scaled a category/business, not just features
- Commercial product mindset
- Comfortable owning revenue, margins, and unit economics
- Integration experience
- APIs, third-party dependencies, complex workflows
- Execution depth
- Can go from strategy → PRD → shipped product → iteration
Good to Have (but Valuable)
- Experience working in or launching products in Europe
- Exposure to loyalty/rewards ecosystems
- Experience in multi-market / multi-currency / localization-heavy products
- Prior experience in super apps, marketplaces, or embedded ecosystems
What Success Looks Like
- Travel becomes a top engagement and revenue driver within the telecom app
- Strong conversion rates and repeat usage, not just traffic
- Seamless loyalty integration driving incremental transactions
- A scalable foundation across multiple European markets
Why You Should Care
This Role Gives You
- Full category ownership, not a slice of a funnel
- Exposure to European markets at scale
- The chance to build travel in a non-traditional distribution channel (telco) --- where most competitors get it wrong
