For temporary employment of 24 months Rocket Factory Augsburg AG in Augsburg is looking for a

Your Responsibilities

• Design, supervise the construction of, and commission launch and test site infrastructure
• Design control system cabinets and switchboards
• Design power networks and power systems for launch site infrastructure
• Write procurement specifications; construction methodologies; and commissioning procedures to enable your design to come become reality
• Assist in the creation of design documentation and reporting
• Work closely with engineers and technicians from different backgrounds
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders ensuring requirements are communicated and met

Your Profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on power distribution networks and systems, or related
• 2 years of practical design and / or build experience of electrical and power distribution and power management systems
• Experience with sizing critical power infrastructure (UPS, generators, automatic switching)
• Experience with the design and operation of common control system components, sensors, and actuators
• Experience with process plant design and operation is highly regarded
• Knowledge of designing to European construction standards and specifications, IEC standards, Machine Directive
• Ability to create and interpret electrical engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
• Capable of working independently and with a hands-on mentality
• Confident working on large projects with limited oversight
• Able to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary and multicultural team
• Fluent in written and spoken English
