Job Description

For temporary employment of 24 months Rocket Factory Augsburg AG in Augsburg is looking for a
Your Responsibilities
- Design, supervise the construction of, and commission launch and test site infrastructure
- Design control system cabinets and switchboards
- Design power networks and power systems for launch site infrastructure
- Write procurement specifications; construction methodologies; and commissioning procedures to enable your design to come become reality
- Assist in the creation of design documentation and reporting
- Work closely with engineers and technicians from different backgrounds
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders ensuring requirements are communicated and met
Your Profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on power distribution networks and systems, or related
- 2 years of practical design and / or build experience of electrical and power distribution and power management systems
- Experience with sizing critical power infrastructure (UPS, generators, automatic switching)
- Experience with the design and operation of common control system components, sensors, and actuators
- Experience with process plant design and operation is highly regarded
- Knowledge of designing to European construction standards and specifications, IEC standards, Machine Directive
- Ability to create and interpret electrical engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
- Capable of working independently and with a hands-on mentality
- Confident working on large projects with limited oversight
- Able to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary and multicultural team
- Fluent in written and spoken English
