Ihre Aufgaben

• Literature review of RTG and RHU technologies, with particular focus on the European context and on the constraints these technologies impose on spacecraft and system design

• Understanding of mission-level objectives and requirements, and their flow-down to lander-level technical requirements Preliminary system design of a surface lander powered by RTG technology

• Detailed focus on the power and thermal subsystems, including power generation, energy distribution, heat management, and survival in a cold environment

• Preliminary sizing and definition of the remaining subsystems, including: Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC/AOCS) Structure and mechanisms Communications Data Handling System (DHS)

• Definition of system budgets, including mass and power budgets

• Preliminary accommodation and layout of subsystems at lander level, accounting for thermal, mechanical, and operational constraints

Ihr Profil

• Currently in a Master-level degree in aerospace engineering with a focus on space systems

• High motivation, pro-active working approach and strong sense of responsibility

• Fluency in both spoken and written (business) English
