About OKEE Maritime GmbH\n\nOKEE Maritime GmbH is an aspiring shipping company based in Hamburg. We focus on the holistic commercial and technical management of seagoing vessels. Our continuously growing fleet currently includes three container feeders, one bulk carrier, and two MR tankers.\n\n### Responsibilities\n\n* Independent processing of current financial accounting, including accounts receivable and payable.\n* Reconciliation of accounts and clarification of discrepancies.\n* Processing of national and international payment transactions.\n* Execution of the dunning process and support with receivables management.\n* Preparation and participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code).\n* Process documentation in our internal knowledge base (Confluence).\n\n### Profile\n\n* Completed commercial apprenticeship (e.g., tax assistant, industrial clerk), ideally with further training as a financial accountant or comparable qualification.\n* Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in accounting.\n* Sound knowledge of common accounting software (DATEV) and Microsoft Excel.\n* High affinity for numbers, accuracy, sense of responsibility, and teamwork skills.\n* Independent and structured way of working.\n* Hands-on mentality and enjoyment in actively shaping processes.\n* Very good German language skills and good English language skills.\n\n### What We Offer\n\n* Permanent employment contract with flexible working hours (1-2 days of home office per week).\n* 30 vacation days per year (five-day week).\n* Attractive and performance-oriented salary.\n* Modern workplace in a central location in Hamburg.\n* Opportunities for professional and personal development.\n\nAs a growing, ambitious team, we work in an open, appreciative corporate culture with flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths.
