Are you ready to make an impact? As OPIA Associates is partnered with one of Germany's fastest growing employee benefits providers, who is seeking Senior Full-Stack Kotlin Developers to support their transformation.
Following a hugely successful 3 years, this organisation is undergoing rapid expansion. You will be key in supporting a complex migration from PHP to Kotlin Microservices on AWS.
Responsibilities
- Develop & maintain modern software solutions in a service-oriented architecture.
- Shape the architecture, API landscape & technical standards to develop scalable solutions.
- Support the migration from legacy PHP codebases to Kotlin Microservices on AWS.
- Ensure clean code & testability, conduct code reviews & promote best practices within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field).
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in Software Engineering.
- Several years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Kotlin/Java.
- Deep understanding of modern architectural design and domain-driven design.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and experience with distributed systems.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
- Problem solver who can balance technical excellence with business requirements.
