Role Description
This is a hybrid / Remote role for a Senior Planning & Project Control Engineer based in Heidelberg for international projects, with opportunities for partial work from home. The role involves overseeing project schedules, planning strategies, cost management, and controls within complex capital projects. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining project schedules, monitoring budgets, analyzing project data, and ensuring alignment with contractual requirements. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders will be essential to delivering projects with precision and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Planning & Scheduling to oversee project timelines and resource allocation effectively
- Cost Control and Cost Management skills to monitor, analyze, and manage project budgets
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret project data and provide actionable insights
- Experience in Project Controls to identify risks, track progress, and maintain alignment with project goals
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Power Bi)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Prior experience in the Data Center, Energy, Industrial, or Oil & Gas sectors is an advantage
- Implement and monitor EVM and cost--schedule performance metrics
- Prepare executive-level reports for internal and client stakeholders
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across different time zones
