C#/C Software Developer – Medical Imaging & Healthcare Systems - Bis zu - €90,000

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced C#/C++ Developer to join our medical software team, working on safety-critical healthcare applications.

The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and enhancing medical systems that integrate with clinical environments using DICOM and HL7 standards.

This position offers the opportunity to work on software that directly impacts patient care and clinical outcomes.

Your Tasks

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality medical software applications using C# and C++
• Implement and support DICOM communication (storage, query/retrieve, worklists, image processing)
• Develop and integrate HL7 interfaces for interoperability with hospital and clinical systems
• Collaborate with clinical specialists, QA, and regulatory teams to ensure software meets medical standards
• Participate in system architecture, code reviews, and technical design discussions
• Debug, profile, and optimize performance-critical components
• Produce and maintain technical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements

Your Skills

• Strong commercial experience with C# and/or C++
• Proven experience working with DICOM standards and medical imaging workflows
• Hands-on experience implementing or supporting HL7 v2.x messaging
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering best practices
• Experience working with Windows-based systems (Linux experience is a plus)
• Experience in medical device or healthcare software development
• Experience with PACS, RIS, or modality software
