Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the sales of cutting-edge scientific products, utilising your deep technical expertise.
- Proactively acquire new clients, offer consulting, provide ongoing support, and ensure long-term customer retention.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop tailored customer solutions that meet specific needs.
- Work alongside international sales partners and contribute to the development of multi-year sales goals.
- Prepare quotes, handle order processing, and ensure smooth transactions.
- Act as a liaison for the technical support team, particularly in customer-facing communications.
- Organise and execute sales trips, including customer visits, product demonstrations, trade fairs, and conferences.
- Contribute to the strategic expansion of customer bases and markets.
- Maintain and update client information using our CRM system.
Qualifications:
- A degree in a technical or scientific field, such as physics, physical engineering, photonics, or metrology.
- You bring a confident, approachable demeanour and have a natural ability to engage with customers.
- You thrive in an autonomous role and take ownership of your responsibilities.
- A logical and analytical approach to technical challenges is essential.
- A solid understanding of imaging and spectroscopy is key, along with experience selling complex technical products.
- Fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Occasional travel (less than 10%) within Germany and internationally.
