About the role:
We are currently looking for a Senior Cloud Consultant DevOps to join a fully remote engineering team. The role combines hands-on cloud engineering with technical consulting and project ownership. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and operating private cloud environments with a strong focus on Kubernetes, infrastructure automation and virtualization platforms.
This position includes occasional in-person meetups in Munich.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Take ownership of cloud projects from design through to delivery
- Build and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Design secure and scalable private and hybrid cloud architectures
- Work with virtualization and cloud platforms such as Proxmox and similar technologies
- Ensure security, monitoring and compliance standards are met across environments
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing cloud infrastructures
- Provide technical consulting and guidance to clients
- Support and mentor junior engineers when required
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud consulting roles
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Solid experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
- Solid hands-on experience with Proxmox in production environments
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and containerized environments
- Experience with private or hybrid cloud environments is highly beneficial
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms is a plus
- Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of technical topics
- Fluent German and English
