Freelance Frontend Developer

Project Overview:

We're partnering with a well-established, reputable client based in Berlin to find a Frontend Developer who's excited about shaping modern conversational products. In this role, you'll help build intuitive, engaging chat-based interfaces used by a broad and growing user base. Although the company is headquartered in Berlin, the position is fully remote within Germany, offering flexibility without sacrificing impact.

Key Objectives:

• Develop and maintain modern, user-friendly frontend applications
• Contribute to the design and implementation of chat-based and conversational interfaces
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams
• Support the integration of new technologies, including AI-powered components
• Participate in planning, architecture discussions, and continuous improvements

Requirements:

• Strong experience with modern frontend technologies, ideally including:
  • React (Hooks, Context API, component architecture)
  • Next.js or similar frameworks
  • State management (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or similar)
  • REST APIs and/or GraphQL
  • Modern CSS approaches (CSS-in-JS, Tailwind, Styled Components, etc.)
• Familiarity with testing tools (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
• Solid understanding of UX principles and performant web applications
• Interest in chatbots, conversational UI, or AI-driven products
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) is desirable but not required
