Freelance Full‑Stack Developer (JavaScript)
Start Date: 1st April Duration: 6 Months Location: Berlin (Fully Remote) Language: German/English Fluent (C1) Capacity: 40 hours a week
About the Role
We are looking for a versatile Full‑Stack Developer with strong experience in JavaScript for both front‑end and back‑end development. You'll be contributing to a large, business‑wide internal platform, working on features that impact multiple teams and functions across the company.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front‑end interfaces using modern JavaScript practices.
- Build and enhance back‑end services and APIs using JavaScript‑based server technologies.
- Work closely with internal teams to integrate the platform across various areas of the business.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision‑making.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are met.
- Support continuous improvement and assist in refining development processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript across both front‑end and back‑end environments.
- Experience with front‑end JavaScript frameworks or component‑based architectures (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular‑style ecosystems).
- Backend experience using Node.js, including building REST APIs, handling integrations, and working with JavaScript server frameworks.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript tooling such as ES6 , Webpack, Vite, or similar build systems.
- Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and handling data‑driven features.
- Understanding of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including distributed services, serverless functions, or containerized deployments.
- Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines, version control, testing, and modern development workflows.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
