Job Description

Your Responsibilities

To strengthen the Finance department, we are looking for a Finance Controller (m/f/d) in full-time (40 hours / permanent) for our location in Leverkusen.

Your varied tasks include:

  • Ensure adherence to Group accounting principles and ensure compliance with applicable local regulations. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including balance sheet and cash flow reviews, with a primary focus on controlling discounts and fixed assets. Responsible for the audit process locally.
  • Support with tax-related matters by collaborating with the corporate tax department, local tax advisors, and local tax authorities, including processing and controlling VAT returns for German companies and Danish companies registered in Germany. Analysis of deviations, financial indicators and support to Business Finance/internal stakeholder and Group audit in general.

Your Profile

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship or completed degree in economics with subsequent professional experience in finance (at least 2-3 years).
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken (at least Level C1).
  • Experience with multinational, multi-site operations is an advantage.
  • Structured, meticulous, and precise working style.
  • Teamwork, reliability, and commitment.
